Just when I thought that celebrity fashion was teetering on disappointment, the Royal Canadian Tour kicks off and all good sense is restored. I love me some America, but at a time when our neighbors to the north are upping their appeal, they make a huge push upward as they are graced with my BFF, Kate Middleton (and you know, her husband Prince William).
George and Chatlotte in tow, Kate looked beyond impressive on Day 1 of the tour, in a navy blue Jenny Packham dress and complementary fascinate. Day 2, though, that is the dress I am fancying. Kate, Will at her side, arrived in Vancouver in this absolutely adorably chic Alexander McQueen dress:
A nod to the Canadian flag, this above-the-knee number was a red and white embroidered dream. The soft scalloping of the two tiered skirt added a subtle flirty flare to the otherwise modest sleeves and button embellished neckline.
Kate paired the dress with a red Miu Miu clutch and red L.K. Bennett heels. Her hair was as crush worthy as ever and her simple accessories were thoughtful and stylish.
