This past Saturday, June 4, at Sony Pictures Studio in California, Spike’s Guys Choice Awards took place, bringing together a star-studded crowd for a night of heart and humor.
Although it was a night to celebrate guys, you could not help but applaud the ladies on the red carpet. Black proved to be the color of the night, with obvious nods to cut-outs, short hems, and sheer materials. Here are a few of the sultry looks you can catch when the awards show airs this Thursday, June 9, 9pm, on Spike:
1. Gigi Hadid in David Koma
Gigi took home the “Our New Girlfriend” award, and slayed the red carpet in this David Koma mini dress. Complete with a sheer pattern on the bodice and sleeve, this little black mini dress is aces at showing off Gigi’s model gams. The solid bell-sleeve cuffs and high neckline give added visual appeal, while the look as a whole is quite alluring. Perfectly imperfect bedroom hair, a nude lip, and Giuseppe Zanotti sandals round out her look.
2. Chrissy Teigen in Dion Lee
New mama Chrissy Teigen hit the red carpet alongside husband John Legend, looking fierce and sparkly post-baby. The long-sleeved mini dress features a plunging neckline and assymetric hem. The belting gives it a sort of blazer-dress vibe, while the short hem emphasizes her long legs. Chrissy tops off her sparkling look with a Jimmy Choo clutch and Jimmy Choo heels.
3. Sarah Hyland in Amanda Wakeley
Sarah Hyland, of Modern Family fame, is a red-carpet favorite of mine, and this look is no exception. From Amanda Wakeley’s SS16 collection, this too-cool floor lenth top and cut-off pant combo is a little different vibe, albeit an incredible one, from her usual style. The sparkle embellished bralette featured strappy details and floor grazing sheer paneling that clasped together at the bodice. The cut-off trousers underneath were an on-trend nod to menswear inspired detailing. Sarah’s chocolatey locks and dark smokey eye complete her rockstar red carpet look.
4. Olivia Munn in Galia Lahav
My forever girl crush, Olivia Munn, looked smoking hot in this sheer + lacy number by Galia Lahav. The intricately patterned sheer overlay of this mini dress elevated the visual appeal of this sultry look. The lace hem complemented Olivia’s legs for days, and the fit of the dress perfectly showcased her X-Men toned silhouette. A pair of inverted braids, Rachel Katz rings, and Jimmy Choo heels complemented her crush-worthy look. Olivia later took home the “Jean Claude Gahd Dam” award…nice.
Now that you have had a little sneak peek of the hotness to come, make sure to catch the event in it’s entirety this Thursday night on Spike.
