Gifting Guide: For Her 2015

I cannot even believe I am about to say this: I am done with holiday gift shopping!! The husband and I decided that we were going to save ourselves some December stress this year and be able to all the more enjoy our son’s first holiday season. We started checking items off of our collective lists back in October, and let me just say what a relief it has been. Of course, we still have a gift card or two, and some scotch tape (can never have enough) to scoop up, but being ahead of the game is one tradition I can get behind, or should I say, ahead of!

Introductory commentary aside, it can be tiresome and just plain hard trying to come up with great gifts for your friends and family. To help alleviate some of your gifting angst, I’ve curated 3 great gifting guides: For Her, For Him, For Your Host/Hostess. These are each filled with 10 gifty gift recommendations of on point gifts for the 2015 season…gifts I’m giving, gifts I know I wouldn’t mine receiving, and gifts that are just plain rad!

Without further adieu, here are my 10 gift ideas For Her this holiday season, in no particular order.

1. Charlotte Tilbury Bar of Gold Skin Gliding Highlighter

Cost: 42$

Available: http://www.charlottetilbury.com, Bergdorf Goodman, Nordstrom (to name a few)

Note: This Bar of Gold highlighter by celebrated UK makeup artist is quite the coveted beauty item this holiday season, and it’s easy to see why. It gives the most luxurious glow and just feels super velvety on the skin!

NOTE: I’ve recently discovered that this limited edition product is out of stock!! I chose to keep it listed since it is one of my top picks for Holiday 2015. If you were considering this product, let me offer a great comparable product: Becca x Jaclyn Hill Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed in Champagne Pop. This is also limited edition, but is available for purchase, 38$, at Sephora.

2. Beth Macri Custom Hidden Message Necklace

Cost: starts at 160$

Available: http://www.bethmacri.com

Note: Normally I do not include pricier items in my gift guides, but this one was too good not to suggest if you need a WOW-factor gift for a special someone. I’d go as far as to say I would wear one 😉 the customization options are endless, from dates, to initials, or meaningful words.

3. Patterned Scarf

Cost: 39.90$

Available: http://www.zara.com

Note: Scarves are pretty much a timeless gift; you can’t go wrong giving one, especially if it’s this cozy Long, Soft, Patterned one from Zara. I love the black + ecru knit, and the beautiful all over geometric pattern.

4. Buxom Leave Your Mark Full-On Lip Polish + Lip Cream Set

Cost: 59$

Available: Sephora

Note: I just love sets like this! Not only do you get a tremendous deal, you also get so many product options to play with. This set by Buxom offers up 15 shades of their mini Full-On lip polishes and creams, in a variety of reds, pinks, and nudes…endless mix + match looks here! This is a limited edition set, so go, hurry, buy!
5. Mystery Date Nostalgia Edition

Cost: 35$

Available: Kohl’s, Urban Outfitters + other locations.

Note: I love how so many products are being re-released in their original packaging, and this vintage edition of Mystety Date is just too great not to gift to someone. Squad approved.

6. Rifle Paper Co. 2016 Planner

Cost: 34$ (currently on sale-23.80$)

Available: http://www.riflepaperco.com

Note: I love pretty much everything at Rifle Paper Co., but I’m particularly loving this 17-month planner in the Birch Floral design. Such a pretty way to keep 2016 organized!

7. Aerie Plaid Boiler Suit

Cost: 54.95$, on sale- Buy One get One 50% off.

Available: Aerie, http://www.ae.com

Note: I love a good lounge romper/jumpsuit, and this plaid one from Aerie is comfy, cute, and currently on sale!

8. PureGuardian Aromatherapy Essential Oil Diffuser

Cost: 40$ (free shipping)

Available: http://www.target.com (online only)

Note: Essential oils are all the rage, and rightfully so with all of their homeopathic properties. This little diffuser is a great way to diffuse all of your favorite oils, whether you’re fighting a cold, warding off stress, looking for a burst of energy, or keeping monsters under the bed at bay. The small lightweight size also makes this great for traveling, which most of us will definitely be doing at some point this holiday season.

9. Starbucks Traveler

Cost: 19.95$

Available: Starbucks and http://www.starbucks.com

Note: When is Starbucks not a great gift idea?! I am loving this year’s Dot Collection of mugs, travelers, and tumblers. They have an absolutely darling macaroon themed mug, but my eye gravitated immediately to this watercolor heart printed traveler. The bright colors and sweet design are perfect for sipping your favorite brew. If you are gifting for someone else be sure to stow a Starbucks gift card on the inside, and if you’re buying for yourself, what the heck, include one too; treat yo self.

10. Jurassic Plate Serving Dish

Cost: 75.50$

Available: http://www.luluandgeorgia.com

Note: I cannot. Perhaps I’m saving this guy for last because he is, in fact, the best. Perhaps I’m listing him last because I’m hoping that my husband will at least scroll through this post and think hey, bae needs this. (Side note: he doesn’t actually say bae, unless ironically). Seriously though, how cute is this T-Rex serving dish from Lulu & Georgia?! I want to immediately bake cookies and serve them up…fancy AF!!
I hope this list was helpful, or at the very least inspired your gift giving this season! Stay tuned for the gifting guides for Him, and for your Host/Hostess.
