Gwen’s Grammy Fashion 2015.

We are already into February!! It seriously has just dawned on me how fast the time is flying by! So, what’s been going on since my last post at the end of January?! Well, I turned 30 last weekend, I am currently 32 weeks pregnant, today marks 10 years being with my husband, and I have a special surprise dinner to look forward to tomorrow, as well as my big baby shower on Sunday. Tack on a bunch of routine doctors appointments and what have you and February truly has been a whirlwind thus far.

Anyway….let’s talk Grammy’s. This is one awards show I actually sat and watched this past Sunday, albeit, to me it wasn’t as exciting as I anticipated. Was it just me?! I don’t like to recap these types of events, necessarily, although there were some high points, mostly due to the high level of emotion and humanity that seemed to seep through every performance. What, as always, locks me in to magazine covers, blog posts and what have you, is the red carpet fashion. One of my favorite looks would have to be Gwen Stefani.

Gwen looked impeccable all night, but I loved her red carpet look because it was so incredibly sexy and chic, without being a gown. Gwen called her custom, sleeveless jumpsuit “artwork” and I have to agree. What particularly draws in my attention is the bodice.

The wavy, webbed pattern overlaying the black and nude of the bodice was aesthetically gratifying and you can tell that the Versace team truly fitted this to her like a glove. Partnered with tall black heels, upswept hair and classic Gwen makeup, this was rock royalty perfection.

Gwen later appeared, alongside Adam Levine, again donning Versace for her duet performance, this time in a glamorous red number. All I can say is Team Gwen-Versace for the win.
