There have been a number of gold star looks from winning designers this season and some of my favorite have come from designer Zuhair Murad. Nina Dobrev stepped out last week in one of the designer’s Resort 2015 pieces at the Hollywood premiere of “Let’s be Cops”.
This sleeveless, multi-colored beaded dress was an absolute visual masterpiece on the red carpet. The warm colors were complimentary to Nina’s complexion and brunette locks and the fit and flare construction lent a feminine vibe in structure. The pattern of the beaded detail further adds to the textural and architectural vibe of the dress; the pattern being more spaced apart at the flare of the dress, and more concentrated at the bustier section. The pattern itself gave the dress a southwest-meets-art-deco vibe, which I find totally dreamy on the “Vampire Diaries” actress.
To finish off her top notch look, Nina also rocked a black Salvatore Ferragamo clutch, black Ferragamo heels and Tiffany & Co. jewelry. Her hair was pushed back, yet fell soft, and her neutral toned smoky eye was a perfect pairing to the warm palette of her ensemble. Nina’s simple picks for jewelry really let the beaded embellishment of the dress shine. Despite minimal accessory this look definitely exhibits maximum impact.
