Kate Spade is Aces.

Hoping everyone had a lovely Independence Day!! As I lay in bed all sick and whatnot during this gorgeous weekend, I figured I’d attempt to play around with WordPress since the past 3 days I’ve been having issues and not able to post like normal. Even as I type this I had to access this page through 50 different back roads it seems, which is especially inconvenient when I’ve had 2 June posts sitting on the back burner for a while now. One is my ipsy glam bag first impressions for June, and the other was a little nod to Kate Spade, which is my plan to discuss here now.

A few weekends ago the Kate Spade Saturday Summer Solstice Party was held at The Roof on Wilshire in Los Angeles. Think, a pool party to beat all other pool parties, and the fashion was not to be missed, as evident by the looks of Emmy Rossum and Camilla Belle.

Emmy looked amazingly on point in the Kate Spade Saturday’s Cut Out Flare Dress with the envelope clutch. The baby blue fit and flare was stunning in contrast to Emmy’s raven hued locks, which were styled is beautiful beach waves fitting of the event. The key hole like cut out at the empire was just enough and provided extra visual interest to the look. Her pink Kate Spade envelope clutch provided the perfect pop of color fun and her ankle tie heels rounded out the fun and flirty look.

Camilla looked equally as amaze as she rocked the two-bar belted Seamed dress along with Kate’s Saturday’s mini satchel and brass bangle. The dusty gray tones of Camilla’s look played nicely with the bright atmosphere of the event, as well as serving as a great complement to her KS mini satchel. The metallic embellishment of her heels gave her a slight edgy appeal and her tousled waves left her hair looking soft and playful.

Two quite different, but equally appealing looks. I’ve always been a fan of Kate Spade and this merely serves as a prime example why. She’s quite the leading lady when it comes to handbags, accessories and more, and I am eager to get my hands on a few other key pieces.
