Sarah Jessica Parker, an icon in every right. Whether embracing her much adored character of Carrie Bradshaw or just being her much too beautiful self, SJP doesn’t seem to miss when it comes to the fashion choices she makes. When she stepped out on the red carpet in NYC earlier this week, for the AOL Digital NewFronts Presentation, it was no exception as she wore a piece from the late designer Alexander McQueen’s namesake label. And let me just say, I give so much credit to that design team for keeping true to the AQ design ethic and essence. SJP looked poignantly chic, with the perfect blend of edge.
This white cap sleeved fit and flare dress (you know I love the “skater dress” trend) was beautifully detailed with a pale pink and grey tulip print. Her Fred Leighton jewels and metallic aqua d’Orsay pumps from her own SJP Collection completed the copycat worthy look. Those shoes. Yes. The color was the perfect bit of metallic to provide contrast and visual interest that suited the red carpet well. Not to mention her on point hair and makeup, as per usual. No one rocks the ombre/balayage look quite like she does. After all, Mrs. Parker is an icon.
